Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using the Rediscover Nova Scotia website and purchasing products or digital downloads linked from it.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms and any policies linked from them. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or purchase through it.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
Using this website
You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes, including browsing articles, downloading free resources, and purchasing products offered by Rediscover Nova Scotia.
Please do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use its content in a way that violates the law or these terms.
I may update, change, remove, or temporarily suspend parts of the website when needed for maintenance, accuracy, security, or business changes.
Products, prices, and availability
I do my best to make product descriptions, photographs, sizes, prices, and other details accurate. Because many Rediscover Nova Scotia products are printed in small quantities, colours and finished items may vary slightly from what appears on a screen.
Prices
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars. Prices, promotions, and discounts may change from time to time. The price and any applicable charges shown when you place your order are the amounts that apply to that purchase.
Availability
Products are offered while supplies are available. Some physical products may temporarily go out of stock and need to be reordered before they can be sent.
I may correct an obvious pricing, description, or availability error if one is discovered. If an error affects an order you have already placed, I will contact you before making a change or cancelling the affected item.
Orders and payment
Online purchases are processed through Square. The payment methods available for an order are shown during checkout or on the invoice provided.
Please review your order, contact information, and shipping address before submitting payment. If you notice a mistake after ordering, contact me as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to correct it before the order is sent.
Order confirmation
Receiving an order or payment confirmation does not guarantee that every item will be available. If I am unable to fulfill part or all of an order, I will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund or other solution.
Taxes and charges
Applicable taxes and other charges will be shown as part of the purchase information provided through the shop or invoice. Shipping charges, when applicable, are shown separately before the order is completed.
Physical and digital products
Physical products
Physical products may include printed books, journals, calendars, cards, colouring products, and other paper goods. Product details such as size, materials, and quantity are listed with the product wherever possible.
Digital products
Digital products are provided as downloadable files for personal use unless a different licence is clearly stated.
You may print digital products for your own personal or household use. You may not resell, share, redistribute, upload, reproduce for commercial use, or claim the files or designs as your own.
Because digital products are delivered electronically, they are final sale once access to the files has been provided.
Shipping, pickup, and returns
Physical orders are currently shipped within Canada. Shipping charges and available delivery information are provided before an order is completed.
Local pickup
Local pickup may be arranged directly by email. Pickup details are provided privately rather than posted publicly on the website.
Returns and exchanges
Returns, exchanges, damaged orders, missing packages, and other delivery problems are handled according to the current Shipping & Returns Policy.
Please contact me before sending an item back. Returned physical products must meet the conditions described in the Shipping & Returns Policy.
Delivery delays
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the shipping carrier, destination, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside my control. I will help with tracking or delivery problems when possible.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the original writing, photographs, graphics, printable activities, product designs, downloads, and other content created for Rediscover Nova Scotia are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, or print content for your own personal use where that use is clearly allowed. You may not copy, republish, sell, redistribute, modify for resale, or use Rediscover Nova Scotia content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Sharing website content
You are welcome to share links to Rediscover Nova Scotia pages and articles. Please link to the original page rather than copying the full article, photograph, activity, or download onto another website, social account, publication, or product.
Third-party content
Any trademarks, logos, photographs, or other material belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners and are used only where permission or another lawful basis allows.

Safety and suitability
You are responsible for deciding whether an activity, destination, route, or project is suitable for you and anyone with you. Use reasonable care, follow posted rules and safety guidance, and consider factors such as weather, terrain, age, ability, equipment, and local conditions.
Nothing on this website is intended to replace professional safety, medical, legal, or other specialized advice.
Third-party websites and services
This website may link to third-party websites or services, including Square, social media platforms, tourism websites, attractions, accommodations, or other businesses and organizations.
Once you leave Rediscover Nova Scotia, the other website’s own terms, privacy practices, prices, availability, and policies apply.
I am not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of third-party websites or services.
Affiliate links and sponsored content
Some pages or articles may contain affiliate links. If you make a purchase through one of these links, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Affiliate relationships, sponsored content, gifted products, or other paid partnerships will be clearly disclosed where they appear. Any opinions or recommendations shared are my own unless otherwise stated.
Limitation of liability
I make reasonable efforts to keep the website, product information, and adventure content accurate and useful, but I cannot guarantee that every page, link, price, description, or piece of information will always be complete, current, or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, Rediscover Nova Scotia is not responsible for indirect or unexpected losses that result from using this website, relying on information found here, or using third-party websites or services linked from it.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the applicable laws of Canada.
If a dispute arises, I encourage you to contact me first so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
Changes to these terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated when the website, products, services, or business practices change. The current version will always be posted on this page.
